In 2015 following a special general meeting in April the following committee was formed until the AGM later this year:
President: Greg Marginson Greg comes to Dubbo Jazz with a wealth of experience in all things arts and event management In Melbourne, Canberra and now regional NSW. Greg is Chair, Dubbo Events Network, co-ordinated the 2012 DREAM Festival, and the 2013 Dubbo Jazz Festival. Greg’s partner Vivienne is Director of Macquarie Conservatorium and they have collaborated on various music projects over the past decade including the chamber opera company Stopera.
Vice- President: Bizzi Mason Bizzi has a long history in music, initially as a drummer, then graduating with a BA in Composition from UNE in 1993. Bizzi has a wealth of experience in Music/Stage Management & Production. Bizzi was Secretary of Dubbo Jazz in 2012/3 and for the 2013 Festival.
Treasurer: Kris Steven Kris is a longtime friend of the Club and a whizz with book keeping. Kris played Trombone in her youth and is a keen fan of Jazz music. Kris’ children are musicians too! Kris was Treasurer of Dubbo Jazz in 2012/3 and for the 2013 Festival.
Secretary : Ken Smith is a well-known local radio identity who has been involved in the music business for over 35 years. Ken brings a wealth of knowledge, passion and experience to the Dubbo Jazz Club comiitteee.
Member: Stephen Knight, JP Steve is a local firefighter with Fire & rescue NSW [ Inspector RW1 command] and plays brass in the Greater Western Plains Big Band.
Member: Kerry Ellen is an active participant on the local arts scene and brings a wealth of experience in arts admin, publicity and event coordination. She is also a professional musician (vocalist), regularly performing at venues and events across Western NSW.
Supporter: Di Clifford is current president of Dubbo Artz and long term member Dubbo Jazz. Di is also active in number of local organisations including Dubbo Folk Club, Macquarie Conservatorium and others.
