“The Dubbo Jazz Club held its 23rd Annual Jazz Festival from 9 -11 August,” says President of Dubbo Jazz Club Stephen Smith. “It has been part of the life of the city since 1990, but we need the Dubbo community to get involved more than ever. We need more people in Dubbo to join us, as  members and as audience, to support the continuation of JAZZ in the Dubbo calendar into 2014. After many years of generous volunteer service, the entire previous committee retired last year, and now the new Dubbo Jazz committee has been working hard to create an exceptional Jazz Program for Dubbo into 2014.” Stephen Smith continued.

So we have decided to call upon the Dubbo community to help keep  Dubbo Jazz  alive by joining the club at half price during the month of December 2013. Normally you would pay a joining fee and $20 per year but during December Madness Membership month you can join for $10 or for $20 for a couple or family and you membership will cover you until 31 December 2014. Members get discounts at the Festival, at Local Coffee in Brisbane Street, they can vote at AGM, and support jazz in the region.

In November and December  2013 if you purchase your tickets to Xmas Jazz on the Green in advance you can recoup half your membership on your first ticket purchase.
